Hammond Design has been revolutionizing the marching arts activity over
the last several years by working with top ensembles to develop an ideal
experience on the marching field. Extensive research and design work has
been done with many of DCI’s top drum & bugle corps to help
them develop the ultimate, balanced sound while on the marching field.
Karl has made these mouthpieces to suit the needs of the performers on
the field that offers superior intonation and projection. The rim design
of all Hammond Design mouthpieces allow for greater comfort that result
in increased endurance and accuracy and especially aid the players involved
in the marching arts activity.

XL cup and utilizes our standard backbore with a .290 throat. The
mouthpiece is a shorter length than out standard line to provide

This mouthpiece is extremely versatile throughout the range of the
