Each mouthpiece has two distinctions, the rim size and the cup size. The descriptions that follow are valid for each mouthpiece in the series.

Trumpet Backbores

 Same shape as #1, but in farther for more depth in sound.

 Standard, backbore with more contour and penetration into the throat for a more open feel.

 Much more open in the top and bottom of backbore. Darker sound.

 Full symphonic backbore. Very rich and open.

Medium depth cup, somewhat v-shape, brighter higher overtones, for the player needing constant support in the upper register

A little deeper than M with more of a bottom to the cup and the sound, principal player or the soloist would start here

The deepest of the three, carrying the same idea in shape, but as it goes deeper, the bowl shape is more pronounced, for the section player or the principal needing more “space”

Solo
Very shallow cup, and tight throat to facilitate the upper register. 0.975 diameter
Small only
Orchestral
Conical style cup, relatively shallow, tight throat and backbore. For those needing more sound in the back of an orchestra. This is our stock "S" cup and can be ordered custom in the 10-13 diameters.

Large cup diameter and depth, bowl shape with a funneled entrance to the throat
